Dementia Care at home

Care at home

Ensuring appropriate support and care for individuals with dementia, as well as their caregivers, is paramount. At our facility, we prioritize enabling those with dementia to safely remain in their homes while providing comprehensive support. We also extend our assistance to their families during this challenging period.

Our dementia care workers undergo specialized training in dementia care and awareness, equipping them with a deep understanding of how the condition impacts individuals, families, and their broader support network. Through our person-centered approach, we strive not only to meet the needs of the individuals we serve but also to support the entire family unit.

Routine is important

Living well with dementia entails preserving the essence of one's identity and continuing to engage in activities that bring joy and fulfillment. With home support, your loved one can maintain autonomy by selecting their preferred meals, keeping beloved pets, and nurturing their hobbies and interests.

Through our person-centered approach to care and support, we prioritize the individual's preferences and well-being, ensuring that our assistance is tailored to their unique needs and desires, particularly in the context of dementia.

Helping someone with every day tasks

During the early stages of dementia, individuals often retain their ability to enjoy life much as they did before their diagnosis. However, as symptoms progress, they may experience feelings of anxiety, stress, and fear due to difficulties with memory, communication, and concentration. Supporting the person in maintaining their skills, abilities, and social connections is crucial. Not only does this assist in preserving their sense of self, but it also contributes to their overall well-being and quality of life.
