Our Journey
Invercare, born from the collaborative vision of Marina Sadaoui and Yvonne Watt, stalwarts of the Health and Social Care sector with a cumulative experience exceeding 60 years, marks a profound commitment to compassionate care. Officially established in February 2014 and swiftly recognized by the Care Inspectorate in May of the same year, the company embarked on its journey to redefine caregiving standards.

The roots of Invercare took hold in July 2014, predominantly serving the communities of Inverclyde. Its humble beginnings were anchored in Scarlow House, where the inaugural team of five dedicated individuals laid the foundation for what was to become a beacon of excellence in care provision.

The year 2018 proved transformative for Invercare as it acquired the Inver House Business Centre, a significant milestone signalling the company's burgeoning growth. This strategic move established a centralized hub, solidifying its position as the headquarters of Invercare.

Buoyed by its success, Invercare embarked on a trajectory of expansion, extending its reach into Renfrewshire in 2018, followed by forays into Glasgow in 2020 and North Lanarkshire in 2021. These strategic expansions reflected not only the company's commitment to meeting the evolving needs of communities but also its unwavering dedication to fostering inclusive care environments.

In 2024, Invercare further expanded its services to include Perth and Kinross. This growth underscores the company's ongoing commitment to delivering compassionate care across a broader range of communities.

Presently, Invercare stands as a testament to its founders' enduring vision, boasting a workforce of over 250 compassionate individuals spread across the expanse of the West of Scotland. Serving a clientele of over 300 individuals, the company's footprint in the region epitomizes its unwavering commitment to providing exemplary care, grounded in dignity, respect, and compassion.
